Words

‘Words' are formed by predetermined, riddle-like arrangements of letters, concurrently composing symmetry, balance and tension.

Enigmatic riddles encourage the viewer to interact, opening up for subjective readings, different from the formulation of their titles.

The spaces and holes adjust the speed at which the reader is able to reach a conclusion, they introduce a slowness to the process of understanding the work.

Crosses

'Crosses' are defined by a dialogue between intuitive, meditative brush-strokes and expressions of vigorous and spontaneous physical movement inherent to Abstract Expressionism.

In these works the brushstroke becomes the main protagonist, representing a return to expressive painting.
